Insomnia's Curse

chronic insomnia cripples
        its bubble of distortions guts my day      
             
                    deprived of sleep  
        the ordinary appears horribly difficult
                     the extraordinary 
                   becomes impossible

I have tried many drugs up to this point and they only buy me 2 hours. I have lavender oil and scent in a candle. I take 10 mg melatonin along with a drug whose side effects are sleepiness. I still get about 4 hours...not adequate.
