Insomnia

I lie still in the quiet-pained
Loneliness, watch dawn blurred
Through my rain kissed windows.
My mind draws a picture of us
When we were last together,
I want
Your return, here, to lull me to sleep
In your cradled love...
Counting raindrops has no magic.
Your death untimely, I am left
Empty, so sad.
