Inside, Love's Light
In thoughts, blessings
Arise, through the soft skies
Smiling delight, suggesting
That the soul, sanctified
By love so alive – it inspires
In words, blessings
Caress the heart, the soul
With beauty and grace,
Peacefulness that is like praise
Warming the spirit – it uplifts
In deeds, blessings
Reflect the spirit, the senses
Breathing hope into life,
Miracles that provide
Promises of forever – it delights
Inside, blessings strengthen
Feelings, wise and warm
Like musings of heart and soul
Wisdom and truth, abiding proof
That love is greater, the eternal
Way toward everything
That really matters, hope and faith
Grace that never fades,
Inside, blessings eternal
Glowing into forever, everlasting
Serenity growing through
The darkness, the worry, the feelings
That blind the mind and dim
The beauty of forever, the intimacy
That gives life its meaning,
Love its ability to keep giving –
Whatever comes, whatever goes…
There is love that quiets the impossible
With a promise of probable, viable
Love that erases every fear, wipes away
The tears with a hand of compassion,
A love that lasts through the storm
Proving that His light will shine on
Forever – reflecting what gives life its meaning,
The love that gives hope and belief
In the wonder of a eternity with the Savior,
The One who means the difference
In darkness and light, day and night,
Strength and weakness, chaos and peace –
He is the reason I can see clearly –
Into a future He designed for me,
A future that He fashioned into light for me,
A future that is so very bright indeed
Inside there is faith, belief
In the One who inspires me
The One who rouses hope in me
The One who awakens grace
The One who silences every doubt
Leaves me feeling so alive, so aware
That this love is a love that will never wane –
With love this strong, nothing on earth
Can mute the song that I sing –
When the rhythm is His love - breathed into me
