Inside

Inside

To stand you anymore
my head will burst
you're rotten to the core
and maybe even worst

My eyes are closed
I can't stand your sight
just get out and leave
before we start to fight

What you are inside
is a true disgrace
but you hide it all
behind that face

To people and folks
you seem innocent
but to me you are
so crooked and bent

Just go away
I can't stand your sight
move from here
before we start to fight.

I agree with Karens sentiments. Sometimes you gotta say what you gotta say and you said it well, Maryam! I enjoyed the contrast between both of your poems. Love, Robin

For those that treat others badly, the tide often turns against them. The emotion comes through your words in this poem. Sad that people choose to hurt others instead of building them up. Thank you for your kind words on my haiku. Keep on writing!! Karen
