Innocence

Her young 
Innocent eyes 
Heartwarming smile 
Beautiful spirit 
Why her? 
She loved 
She trusted 
She was victimized 
How do we maintain our innocence? 
When it’s so quickly
Taken away as a child 
Why didn’t she tell? 
Afraid 
Confused 
Or just didn’t know
Innocence
