Innocence
I saw it first within your eyes—
A calm that mirrors twilight skies.
No games, no veils, no words rehearsed,
Just love in bloom, so pure, uncursed.
You touched my hand and time stood still,
A silent spark, a softened will.
No past to chase, no scars to hide,
Just you and I, and hearts wide-eyed.
Your laughter danced like summer rain,
Unburdened by the weight of pain.
Each kiss we shared, a quiet prayer,
Of something rare, divinely fair.
We knew not where the road would bend,
But trusted love to guide, defend.
With every glance, I saw it shine—
That innocence, and you, were mine.
So let the world be loud and wide,
I’ll hold your truth here by my side.
For in your soul, I found my start—
The tender dawn of one true heart.
