Inner Peace
I'm moving from the darkness to the light
I am not afraid to move ahead
To leave childish things behind
Happiness starts with the mind
and than cultivates to your insides
Maintaining this state is no longer a requirement
I have found inner peace in my myself
without the constant nagging of my inner self
to find it
I merely stepped on it
like a tire rolls over glass
and it deflated me
threw me off my normal route
but when the tire got pumped
and the hole got fixed
I petaled hard and fast
like a part of me knew now
how precious life is
I found inner peace today
I learned things won't always
stay the same
but love if it's real and true
will never forget
the people whom
it knew
I found inner peace today
