Inner Peace

Peace came with the job of untangling knots
Sticking together pieces
 left carelessly by the paths
I blindly followed

Peace came with 1 condition
To swallow the bitter realities
I kept on putting aside
For another day
Yet to ignore again

And entertaining no thoughts
The world forced on me
Peace came With the responsibility of licking my wounds
Till pain was numb
It came with the realization
And understanding I’m all I have
And that no1 should be accountable for my vile habits
Appreciation and love be
What I give to only those who do the same
