Inner Child

[ Inner Child ] Mind wonders Heart flutters, eyes sparkles She watched herself running in the meadow The air was crisp Her soft long waves bounced as she skipped The morning rays kissed her blushing cheeks Little fingers touched the tall grass gently Butterflies everywhere Danced around her Tiny flowers greeted her Sweet lips flashed a smile She loved to be there A sanctuary in her mind When she wanted to hide away As the harsh reality drove her there She saw herself dissolved Once again, into that six year old Running free Towards the arms of the loving meadow ~ Raba'ah Razak ~ Copyrights reserved 2016 Artistic Storytelling
