Injustice In Silence

In silence, you don’t mention it, That the top guy is involved, In silence, you swallow it, And never take it out of your stomach. In silence, you don’t speak of it, That they took our funds, The taxpayer’s hard earned funds, In silence, you just keep it in your heart, And hope the angel of death pays them a visit. In silence, you don’t even murmur of it, You know they have eyes on you, And you know what will happen, In silence, you don’t say, the judge was tipped, To rule against your side. In silence, you stay quiet and calm, And hope someone will say it, As long as it is not you, Because you know the consequences too well, In silence, you just hope someone will say it. In silence, they rob their own land, In silence, they suck our blood, In silence, they grab our livelihood, In silence, we suffer each day, In silence, injustice thrives.
