Injured/ Unfinished
Dragging back to the den
Leg and hip injured
Torn ears and skin
Mother coyote slowly moves
Being attacked by the bobcat
Left her wounded body and soul
Now she has to see that her young
Are loved, nutured, trained, and fed
Seeing her in such a state
Knowing that she needed help
But how can one help a wild one
Especially one with young
