Inherent Energy

Trains, planes and automobiles all require fuel
But the best form of transportation was a gift from God
Clad in socks, abused on jogs, squeezed into heels
When it comes to moving people, let's give feet the nod

Energy is something we had, not purchased
So let's take a few steps back in history
In olden days, we walked where we wanted to go
Let's prove we can get around without an Energizer battery

Great write, Carolyn! That is exactly what i did in the past when being much younger and walked for about 20 miles and more! Still doing well with walking and I don't really need 'energy' for that! Enjoyed the read and thank you for commenting "Tanzend"! If you'd like have a ook also at my facebook album...All the best! Love, Gert

And don't forget those hand gliders!:) Actually, I would have thought that an angel would have little need for mechanized flight:)....... Where would we be without feet? Probably right next door to the thumb less! This may sound strange, but I kinda miss ya already..........your silence has become deafening! Good luck in the contest!
