I fly with the gull And breathe the color of salt Hear the surf's repeating song I came this way long ago And return to find my path

Hi, Barbara. I am so glad I noticed your comment to someone else's tanka just now. You were telling them how you would try my contest and I was curious to know why yours had not made my list. As I went back to see, I noticed for some reason this one got left off my winner's list by mistake and so I added it on just now.I truly love this one. In the future, don't capitalize the lines of a tanka. But wow, this one's message is simply amazing!!!! congrats in my contest, dear.
