Inhale Storm

Suck ups, breathe deep
Unfortunate clamor for relief
Old folks kept for long term storage
Wild masses forage for papers for toilets
Gas lit, lungs fit, COVID-19 bereft, lottery hits
Benefits still don’t pass, til Easter passover
Coming to an heir near you, sky clear views left out
Smokey runs the gamit, to deliver perishables
While schools are closed, only open for lunchables
Computer driven bandwidth in free wi-fi for takeout
Stakeout in lines for goods, probably already overpriced
Cartoon character shows orange cats, Garfield runs for president
So no one is home as we all get evicted, on the way too work
Too sick to pay for tests or ventilators to relieve the depression
I still cough up in distrust for authorities telling me what statistics say
Like as if I can trust in stimulus paper held up in a house of senators
So tired of tik tok dances and quarantine dance parties, we need recovery
So I truly pray for the sick and scared to one day soon,
 Oh Lord I pray….

That one day soon we will all be blessed with appreciation 2b able to breathe easy!

AMEN
