Infernal Black
The city is full, dark, not alight...
Mountains of man's creation loom,
The horizon is aglow.
Bleeding into midnight...
Stars glisten in the dome of heaven
Pinholes to another reality.
I lie watching,
The celestial fires of distant realms, flow...
Dance the eternal waltz of oblivion.
A city dark and vast,
Canyons of annihilation.
The only light is heavens fire,
Midnight has come to pass.
City full Dark!
Lighting strobes on Horizon edge...
Watching the wraiths gather in time...
Neon shimmers in the black to life
Against the Night
Dance and twirl, Crack!
Only a damned nation knows,
I lie awake awake watching
the eternal heavenly war
Aglow
Against
infernal black.
