Of a good nature Are memories from my past Why had god decided For them to no longer last What was the lesson He wished me to learn? Was I taught something Is now my concern Will I be reunited With the love that was lost? Can the pain be worth it Such a hefty cost? To be without a loved one When there’s nothing you can do Just hold on to believing To help yourself pull through One day you’ll find each other And won’t have to speak a word Because deep down within you Is where the love is heard A relationship strengthened By time spent apart Love stronger than ever Deep in your heart The loss that I suffered Gave me the clue We were meant for each other A friendship so true
