Inevitable
LIFE
painted in a planet filled with dreams
and in the open palm it sits so delicately
the beauty of its vision
the beating of its heart
every living expression
from the moment of its birth
LIFE
to which so fearfully cling
the desperation to the moments end
the emptiness in the final chapter of a dream
the crumbling form
ever present and inescapable
to the darkness never known of living
LIFE
a screaming scrabble to own it more
and so easily brought to its conclusion
in the currency of its fear
never protected or respected
the weapon of its heart beat
moving inexorably toward the day
of its death
LIFE
the curtain of eternal stars
the womb in which is placed the word of God
and there eternity is witnessed
the tiniest mote and cell encapsulated
consciousness created
the greatest harmony
for the time of a single life
DEATH
the husband and the bride
the indivisible from the other side
in consciousness created
the beating of its heart
every living expression
from the moment of its birth
to the darkness never known of living
the fear to which so fearfully cling
but the womb in which is placed the word of God
