Individuality

No two snowflakes are just alike. The same is said for you and me. God made us both to his own plan, With individuality. Why should either of us be scorned, The other looked on favorably? I could have easily been you And you could just as well be me If I'm looking at you with disdain, I'm mocking God and that won't do. It's individuality That's keeping me from being you.

This is why I abhor discrimination, Joyce. All of us are equal in God's eyes, even though we still maintain our individuality. Very nice twist in the last two lines of this terrific poem. Congratulations on your win in Brian's contest! Love, Carolyn

I really like your poem Joyce. It is so true in life people form instant likes or dislikes without really looking at the beauty of each indiviidual person snowflake.
