That flaming red brings warmth to mind, Susan, and the leaves must be counting their blessings! Our Indian summer has had its ups and downs, but on the whole warm and sunny. ~ Warm regards // paul

We haven't had our first freeze yet so we can't say we're having an Indian summer yet here! It's just the aftereffects of summer right now trickling in still! You have written a masterful poem on this subject, a very good, no, it's an awesome Haiku! I am impressed with your skill this morning, and would like to see more of your Haiku if you have any! Great Work!!
