Emile Pinet Poet Quatrain

Indescribable Joy

Wishes cast on the wind
stir desires deep within.
And embellished by hope,
sensual dreams begin.

Lust imbues fantasies
with the passion of youth.
And I felt so naïve
upon learning the truth.

God sent me an Angel
when I met you that day.
And your smile is the light
that keeps shadows at bay.

An indescribable
joy: set my journey's course.
And seeking happiness,
I traced it to its source.

Love's key unlocked my heart,
setting me free at last.
And doubt quickly vanished:
like a ghost from the past.
