Notes About The Poem

Indecision

Enticed
          by feminine allure
          my resistance
          crumbles
          like a house of cards.

          On brief reflection
          I contemplate
          the repercussion
          of total surrender
          or hurried retreat.

Wisdom dictates the benefits of caution and prudence but oft love demands both be tossed aside my friend. And if its true love from both involved no earthly treasure measure up to its blessings. Yet something to be said for a judicious and well timed retreat. A fav...
