Inconstant
Never nights into never days
Can perhaps only be to be
A never you with a never me stays
Are we even somebody to ever see?
To once more ever dream
To never more ever live
Straying into paths never before seen
Perhaps dreaming is once more to believe
Surviving days beyond inconstant wake
The dying wakes for the inconstant mind
Every truth to therefore be known as fake
For every lie is simply a matter of time
If simple can simply be as simple
Don’t simplicity requires complexity to acquire?
As oppose to droplets needed to form a ripple
Do we however need water to quench a desirable fire?
Never nights for never days
A stranger we all become to be
A you, a me perhaps never stays
Do we become somebody to ever see?
