In Your Shirt

i languish alone
in my comfort
wearing a old
shirt you
wore out
long ago

i smile to
myself
thinking....
how you don't
know..............

what or who
i am after
after all
these years

but........you
are certain

you think you know

and i smile

yes i am inert
in my somnolence
living in your
old shirt

and you smile

as i sleep
in my comfort
renewing my
animation

in your shirt.
