Inspire, invite, ignite a fire
Inside my soul, so that I will know
The wonder of this faith, this grace
That fills me with joy and peace
Assurance that You are the way
Toward beauty and wisdom, blessings
From the spirit of Your love, your light
Falling on my life, whispering
Sighing… breathing love all over me
Send your light into my soul
Awaken my dreams, my beliefs
Restore my faith when I feel doubt
Stir the gentleness that cares
The kindness in my prayers
The intimacy that is always there
Alive in your presence, your holiness
The whisper of your authority
Singing amazement through my thoughts
Composing glorious miracles in my heart
Bringing me feelings of absolute devotion
Send your light through my theories
Arouse my passions, my hunger
For the sensation of trust, the abiding love
Falling all around me, wherever you touch
With your unending promise of hope
Your quiet gift of tenderness, your kiss
Friendship that gives me a sense of conviction
Send me your love – the light that abides
Inside my soul, where only You know…
The way that I feel, the love that will heal
Every darkness, each sorrow… with love
That rains down through your shadow!
Thank you, sweet Jesus… for the gift of your spirit
You are the light that inspires and fulfills
You are the One who prompts my praise
You are the way, the truth and the life
You are the One who kindles my faith
You are the light – you are the life – You are
My heart, my spirit, my soul.. everything to me
… And so much more!
