In Your Heart

God’s will came shining,
  When He called Aaron home.
For now he dwells in heaven,
Next to God, by His throne.

I will pass the words,
Robin, keep your faith on high.
For one day you’ll reunite,
  Far beyond the blue sky.

And on that distant day,
  Your heart will rejoice.
Up in your place in heaven,
  When you hear Aaron’s voice.

My heart goes out to you,
  It’s sad we must part.
Aaron’ll always be with you,
  Right there, in your heart.

Your rhyme and meter is great! I have a question which I have posed to others. I was doing the same thing as you before I posed the question (meaning I capitalized the first word of each line). I was given the advice; capitalize the first word in the sentence, and put a period at the end of the sentence. Your first stanza could be 1 sentence or 2.
