In Your Arms

I cry. I sob. I whimper. But in your arms, I cry less. I sob less. My whimpers die down. I sniffle, looking up at you. That sweet smile, that fills me with love. You tell me, “It’s ok, I’m here”. Then I cry again, because I know that I cannot be in your arms any longer.
