In Winter
In Winter
Icicles hanging from slant eaves of roof.
Heavy window curtains: perfect wind-proof.
Outside, shiny snow sparkling as silver.
Nice ice flakes floating on close-by river.
Cheerful children playing sliding on sleds.
Men removing ice, pulling pushing spades.
Lending helping hand to shift drifts of frost.
Being careless, peerless wedding ring got lost.
