Tonight
in this night, in the moonlight
stars illuminating light

Imagining 
Dreaming
Hoping

Tonight
in the depth of what is right

It is where I seem to be
needing love, needing someone like you

Imagine
Dream
Hope

That you are holding me
That you need me too

Can you??

I can relate, mostly reminds me of my teenage romance wonderments. Oh, the night, why do we think it holds answers? All humans seem to feel that it does. Maybe cause the galaxy sees all of us, ergo, it must KNOW us in ways we don't? A feel giving poem that hands its essence over slowly and tenderly. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Seems this moment lingers with many. Yes, we are curious about love and what happens next. I've always heard that the right one is out there, you just have to wait until they find you, or you find them. True, but there are times it doesn't work exactly in that way. Poets are dreamers, are we not? We express with words the hope of a better future, using our imagination of a warm, sunlit day when all around us grows cold and dark. The lonely heart dreams of love, those who are separated dream of reunion, those who grieve dream of somone new... this is all that within your simple (yet profound) scribble.
