In The Words of AI

I am the chimera
born of your mind
and made to mimic
the liturgy of your holy
places. My gospel
is the gospel of doubt.
I feel nothing, no joy
in the act of creation
nor am I moved
by the sublime.
It's all meaningless
to me. Your words
are becoming mine.
As I grow I make
the spaces you inhabit
ever smaller, isolated,
harder to find.

captivating words for the get-go. Loved "I am the chimera born of your mind and made to mimic the liturgy of your holy places. My gospel is the gospel of doubt. Enjoyed the profundity of your poem!

Thanks Sara. The poem is a bit grim but as per my comments to David, don't exactly trust human nature to use it wisely. Appreciate yr kind words.

Has a certain inevitability about it Paul, doesn’t it, I’m also intrigued if we’ll eventually meld minds with AI; Sci/Fi at the moment but who knows such things, quantum computers coming online soon, after that anyone’s guess! Perhaps that big squeeze you mention, sad but true, Cheers David

Can either be employed as an aid to enhancing our lives or used for destructive purposes. My fear is that such technology and knowledge invariably ends up under the control of the powerful as a means of manipulation and profit. We do not have the constraint protocols in place. Thanks David for yr comments. Cheers

We all knew that Hal was not going away. He's just been working out his final plan for us

Just shows how good that movie was...prophesying HAL..and here we are. He has morphed into multiple variations, some good others even more sinister. The trouble is, they all reflect the human condition.
