In the Woods
Walking happily alone in the woods,
Moving on a narrow path walk as I go along,
I saw a blinding light that change my mood,
Curious am I to know what it is and go on.
Looking behind makes my hair stands,
I saw a blurred moving creature in human form,
It feels like my feet frozen and I can’t move on,
Is this real? Or it’s just only my imagination?
The sounds of howling fill in the air,
A lovely view in the woods turned like a twilight zone,
My mind tells me to run…is it only a bear?
Anyway, what on earth am I doing in the woods alone?
All I want is to be with our nature,
Just to breath the fresh air that is so pure,
To embrace the blessings of our creator,
But it turns out to be in horror.
At last I reach my main destination,
That blinding light I saw is paradise in perfection,
All around me are the tall trees with colorful flowers,
Rays of the sunlight peek on the leaves from atop.
My heart is in peace right now,
All I have to say is a big “WOW”,
A miracle sent from heaven as I gaze,
In the silence of the day I find solace.
