In the Still of the Night

In the still of the night I feel you close to me; In the still of the night Your body touches mine; In the still of the night We embrace each other; In the still of the night You are mine. But, in the morning light There is nothing. I acknowledge my fantasy – It was all just a dream. All that is left Is a cold space beside me, Where once Your body could have been.
