Snowdrops tend to sprout early in the Spring,
while Tulips pop up later in the Spring.
And deciduous trees don beards of green,
when trillions of buds unfurl in the Spring.
Sweet sap starts rising in sugar maples,
flowing from taps, drip by drip, in the Spring.
Migrating geese announce their homecoming;
with honks blaring from the skies in the Spring.
And as the songbirds start returning north,
dandelions pave their route in the Spring.
The Japanese cherry blossoms bloom pink,
and creeks fill with smelts spawning in the Spring.
While the Robin Redbreasts start building nests,
bears emerge looking less stout in the Spring.
Butterflies and bees arrive on the scene;
while the children laugh and shout in the Spring.
