In the Rain Drenched Sand
I write a message in the rain drenched sand
I scrawl my words with trembling fingers
I appeal to him with my thoughts
And he listens to my prayers
He says, I am his child
My whole life he has planned for me
He is part of my heart and soul
An exquisite shining pearl
And like a fisherman gathering his net
He gathers his children to him
His love has no bounds
He is the inspiration for my poetry
A light showing the way
I write a message in the rain drenched sand
I scrawl my words in the wet
While he holds my trembling hand
