In the morning, Before the dew is dried As the sky turns lighter The sun begins to shine Reflecting all the beautiful On the roses so alive, dancing Beneath the sunrise, preparing The morning for the promise of a kindness Displayed on the graceful moments When day arises to meet the heart, Blessing, reflecting, directing… In the morning, Before the new has arrived As the sky remembers twilight There is the wonderful singing in sapphire Whispers, erasing the mystery Night’s breathless dark – hesitating In the lonely ache of a past When nothing but silence was felt In the heavy mist of the morning, As life began anew and joy inspired the truth… In the morning, Before the first moments of sun Erases the melancholy, the gloom From the shadows, so hypnotizing Promising the heart to be still, to listen In the waking of the soul’s breathless Dawning… in the moments before the Colors of hope remind us that this heart Is fortunate to know the new, the fresh, the First-hand experience, the blessedness… In the morning, Before peace prepares the spirit There comes a revelation, memory Preventing hope to move to the past, Blocking the way for pain to prey… With a prayer, a psalm, a magnificent That comes to life inside those who know Sunrise remembers to bring with it Hues of joy, hues of love, hues of flowing Embracing with a voice from above – A voice singing, reciting poetic words In visions, dreams, feelings bleeding With the intimacy of a breathing – teasing Away the dark and whispering kindness Into the morning, where light inspires the heart The soul to know the reasons behind the sun’s Tenderness, glistening with the gentleness Only found in the soul who believes in this – The Son who shines far brighter than the sunrise!
