In the Mood For Love Again
I dream of the lovely times we spent
Nurturing our new found love.
The past is lovingly recalled in quiet
Hours, hours spent thinking of you.
Each new day is an adventure, yet
Moments from the past flash back when
Ordinary routine has me reminiscing
Of our wild and youthful
Days, when we couldn’t get enough of
Fine wine and sumptuous dinners with
Only the two of us to contemplate our
Romantic trysts, whenever we could unite.
Love always lingered long in
Our thoughts, but alas now the
Vice of time has us in its grip as we
Endeavor to keep the fires of desire burning.
As we grow older, our love deepens into a
Greater understanding of what true love
Avows. It shares a mental, emotional and physical
Impact upon the life we have built together;
Never ending in desire, trust and contentment.
