In the Mood

Who's sung "I'm in the Mood for Love?" Then again -- Who hasn't? Who's announced, "I'm in the mood for pizza!" Perhaps, rather -- Who hasn't? Who's proclaimed, "I'm in the mood for a drink or two!" Then again -- Who hasn't? Who hasn't thought, "I'm in the mood for a dental appointment!" Perhaps, rather -- Who has? Who hasn't felt, "I'm in the mood for a record-breaking snowstorm!" Then again -- Who has? Who hasn't mused, "I'm in the mood for a lecture on discipline!" Perhaps, rather -- Who has? ********** Who hasn't said, "I'm in the mood to go to work!" Then again -- Who has? ~ And why not?

Well, my hubby loves the snow (because we rarely get any) so he's always in the mood for a 'record-breaking' snowstorm - but on this, we don't agree!

I'm with you on this one too, Michelle. SNOW is the four-letter word which starts with 'S,' as far as I'm concerned...But patience will out: Spring is just around the (proverbial) corner, hopefully. :) gw

Some people love their work and those who don't might want to find something more rewarding. With you on the dentist (Ack!) and the lecture. Pizza is an all-time favorite. Enjoyed your Q&A, Gershon. Without intention, I find myself writing questions in verse as well. Hope you're not too upset by the snowstorm! It got into the low 30s here last night, but it was welcome. Best wishes, Carolyn

Seriously, I actually know quite a few people who love their work, but I don't know anyone who would ever say, "I'm in the mood to go to work."...And why not? Aha! THAT is the question!
