In the Moment

In the moment
When she felt utterly hopeless
When there was no other way out
In the moment of distress
she couldn't keep her wits about

When she tried to do her best
By remembering her loved ones
In the moment of life's biggest test
She finally decided to get her guns

When she planned every detail
to make sure she wouldn't fail
In the moment of heaven or hell
Fate found a way to prevail

When she heard the voices
Tearing her down
In the moment of choices
A saving Grace she had found

She saw her daughter's loving words
She didn't want to disappoint
In the moment a miracle occurred
Life saved, love had made its point
