In the Mirror I Shine
In the mirror I shine,
I love my reflection;
My skin fits me just fine,
even with all my scars;
This goofball smile is mine;
In the mirror I shine
brighter than make up lights;
True natural beauty
the secret to my fire;
Strength builds tenacity;
In the mirror I shine;
Bleak overwhelming thoughts?
Not another minute!
I am now relentless
because I never quit.
