In the Midnight Hours

wide eyed
in the midst
of a sleepless night
she lay entranced
as moon shadows
languorously
danced against
the lonely
barren walls
of her bedroom

Very effective and evocative use of imagery... I could clearly see those moon shadows dancing on the walls as I read this! Lovely!! ;)
