In the Lane

In The Lane

I think I saw you up the lane
I knew though you were not sane
I think I saw you up the lane
I knew though not you to blame
I knew I saw you up the lane
But you and I are not the same
I know I saw you up the lane
But it can never be the same
As why should I still be sane
If I had seen you up the lane
When it was maybe me to blame
Or was it even you I saw in the lane?
