In the Fogginess

the fathomage of thoughts falling from fogged mind are thickset like september air i shiver beneath its imponderous touch as memories awaken before the dawn i am flushed in crimson tones as the horizon blushes in similar hues I watch thoughts and darkness fade out beyond the screams of awakening birds as if carried on the beat of their wings the crescendo of night's winds become mere whispers stilled like hushed thoughts as the fog lifts

What a journey you take us on in the early morning lifting of the fog and dark thoughts resolving to light. Loved the colors and sounds you use to paint this picture, Sandra. Congratulations on your win. Hugs ~ John
