In the Depths of Poetry

can we touch
on sheets of white
where passion unfolds
between the lines?

i linger there
in the ink
of dreams

as i stumble
upon the whispers
of thoughts
through lips
as they kiss
in depths
of metaphors

a pulse
within the words
silently beats
in the chambers
of my heart
a melody

as stanzas fall
softly upon
soul's walls
in the flickers
of touch

i become breathless
in the climax
a top these sheets
in the depths
of poetry
