In the Cycle of Existence

Is not life a mystery too deep to fathom and is not man, a part of the cosmic soul? passing through stages four, human life completes its cyclic scroll starting with innocent childhood, in time, our life passes through youth and middle age and ends up in crippling old age, precisely as the seasons envisage! each stage has its thrills and fills marked by distinct traits and quirk if childhood is an age of play, youth, a transition from play to work. middle age- a time when passions are tempered and old age, time for a shift from work to rest. Thus, life in time sprouts, blooms, fades and ebbs away, as plants through the four seasons manifest! each stage is a link in the long chain of life and birth and death, just doorways in and out life after completing its earthly round, shall enter a world beyond the reach of thought. can we still say life is an empty dream? sure, we wake to sleep and sleep to wake and the cycle goes on and on relentless just as the seasons repeat without mistake!

Hi Valsa the four stages of life so intricately woven with the 4 seasons in a years, each season ending after a 3 month cycle and life as we know it lasting longer but as God dictates, not as we want it to last or end. Your poetry comes straight from the heart my dear friend, I hope you are keeping well, often think of you, as we think a lot alike. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer

"can we still say life is an empty dream? sure, we wake to sleep and sleep to wake" -- I am a Christian who believes not only in life after death, but a duty to reincarnate to continue uplifting self and humanity. Crazy concept to many, I know.

Yes, life has its cycles. We have the choice to do the best we can with what we have in the way of talents to make mankind's existence better or we can make everyone else's life that we touch a hell. Thanks for sharing this one. Sara K

Dear Valsa, what an extraordinary exploration of the cyclical nature of existence. The way your muse knitted together the stages of life with the changing seasons is both beautiful and thought-provoking. I think I was particularly struck by the line: "Thus, life in time sprouts, blooms, fades and ebbs away, as plants through the four seasons manifest!" This verse encapsulates the essence of your message—life’s journey is rich with growth and transformation. Such a reflective piece, Valsa, A Fav!! Autumn Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

So true and profound dear valsa, this is beyond brilliant and very powerful how youv depicted cycle of life and the mundane truth that we all go through, how creative is the way you phrase your thoughts too, i especially loved the lines “ can we still say life is an empty dream? sure, we wake to sleep and sleep to wake and the cycle goes on and on relentless ” an impressive last impression to this poem, as those words resonate and surely will stay in my mind for a while now! Pleasure reading your work always. Sending you light always. Best wishes for the contest. And this surely is a fave also for me

We travel through life, assessing each season accordingly. It is our firm belief that death is but a passage from worldly ideas to another plane where God reigns supreme. We labour to gain heavenly bliss.
