In the Absence of Complication
In the absence of complication,
trials and tribulations become distant memories.
Above sapphire skies delight sanguine eyes -
inspiring forthcoming musings of the mind.
All the pain and sorrow now in the past,
Keeping the heart alive with confidence.
Where there once was self-destruction –
There is a feeling of pure elation, elevation.
Sunlight softens the lines of worry and anxiety,
Creating instead glittering reflections in mirrors.
Even the rain, falling softly against the window –
Encourages the heart to feel assured and well.
The seasons blend, one into another, soothing,
Capturing the heart with a purity and tenderness.
Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter combined –
Creating scenes for the spirit to discover warmth.
Without looking back at the past’s mistakes,
There is a welcoming opportunity to do good things.
With no reason or theme, there is hope and faith –
Love that is without conditions or judgement.
