In That Moment
In darkness now I lay.
Light from the window cascades into the room.
Filling my heart with thoughts of the one I could never
forget.
lost for awhile headed towards the jagged rocks.
But like a lighthouse beacon I was guided by the reflection of your smile.
And though the road back was covered in pain.
I journyed through hell.
Cold and soaked by the agonys rain.
For by a thread from this life i did dangle.
held by a lovers promise caught within a tangle.
For in that moment when darkness was so ready to consume.
the heart refused to die.
As the warmth of your love did loom.
As i lay beaten trapped within this room.
She comforts from afar.
Never to leave this heart for she is my
permanent loveless scare.
And in the confines of this room.
I reflect apon her face.
Knowing forever in my heart she will reside.
In that once hollow place.
words can never repay the dept for which I owe.
But this heart shall forever be yours incase you
ever need to know.
in that moment I knew Pain
Fear and Emptyness.
In that moment I knew you were there.
And in my struggle I herd your voice.
And although pain did exist in lifes fight.
your love ment all.
As i reflect apon all which is you.
As the light cascades through my window
into my empty room tonight.
Dedicated To Julie loveless
For we know all that others never will
