In Space and Time

you don’t know me
but I’m a kindred spirit
my poetry is the bridge
I build to reach outward
through space and time

deep down I long to share
my longings my passions
my dreams my insecurities
I know you’re somewhere out there
and I love you wherever you are
as I strive to reach out to you and connect
beyond the confines of space and time
