IN SOLITUDE

I escaped myself
by begging to be seen.
On the loud stage of life,
I forgot my name.

Then I entered silence.
And silence
remembered me.

Validation, I learned,
is a sweet poison.
It feeds the mask.
Not the soul.

They say silence is gold.
I did not hear it—
I saw it.
Shining in solitude.

There,
my hidden powers woke.
Silence became my master.
Solitude, my temple.

I searched for God
in crowds,
in noise,
in prayer.

But He was waiting
where nothing speaks.

True freedom
is not escape.
It is aloneness.
And aloneness
is remembrance.

Silence is not empty.
It is full of truth.
Of intuition.
Of forgotten wisdom.

Now I know:
Solitude is the path.
Silence is the vehicle.
And the soul
is the destination.
