In Silence

Gazing eyes at the moonlight sky Flickering to a distant dream In silence, it rhymes Mimicking the breeze of time Aiming for the moon But always falling behind Why the stars, it's nightmare? Those twinkling eyes never lied In silence, those tears rolled by Crowded in silence And lost, looking alike. Is the terror profound? When holding to the edge Always hitting the stars Just one step behind In Silence, waiting for the fickle mind, For a new day to come by To fathom in silence It's a star burning bright Setting up the moonlight sky.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
