In Retrospect
Christmas was a time of laughter and
cheer
Often times I didn't get the toys I wanted
each year
Was I a bad child? Why did Santa forget
about me?
As the years went by, in retrospect I started
to see,
I got everything that really mattered each
Christmas Day!
I was loved, I had shelter and food to eat
on that day!
Merry Christmas Everyone And A Happy
New Year!
