In Response To What Will Tomorrow Bring

If someone offered me a crystal ball so I can know what is in store for me, the future I’d not want to know at all. I love my life so what will be - will be. So I can know what is in store for me, I don’t need fortunes read. I’m getting by! I love my life, so what will be – will be. God knows my fate. On Him I must rely. I don’t need fortunes read; I’m getting by! I want to be surprised by each new day. God knows my fate; on Him I must rely. Leave well enough alone is what I’d say! I want to be surprised by each new day. The future I’d not want to know at all! Leave well enough alone is what I’d say if someone offered me a crystal ball. What you say is quite true...I mean, why strain and loose the moment that you are living in for caring what will tomorrow bring. Wonderful pantoum, Andrea. GL.

Fantastic pantoum Andrea. One of my favourites to write, and not easy at all. Especially to make it flow naturally is quite challenging. I wish you good luck in the contest.

Sounds like what will be will be from the Doris Day song. I am sitting here in my apartment watching the Mets play. I attended the Salute to Israel night where the Mets played the Padres - and lost. Met some nice people from Sand Diego. A cheerful Shalom to you and yours!!

You are so good at writing in this difficult form Andrea. I really love your attitude of looking forward to each new day and being surprised. Often even if we are told the future we cannot conceive of it as it actually would be and it would cause worry. It is enough just to live our lives the best we can each day, I agree. Best of luck in the contest. : )

Delightful writing with a serious message dear, Andrea! Life would be too boring if we knew what would happen the following day! Excellent presentation!

What a clever take on the theme Andrea - i wouldn't want a crystal ball either - it may predict something really awful is going to happen, we just have to accept that we have to deal with whatever life throws at us:-) hugs Jan xx
